About this species

Range
Myanmar, Vietnam and Yunnan (China)

The Indochinese shrew is a species of white-toothed shrew native to Southeast Asia. It was first identified in 1922 by Herbert C. Robinson and C. Boden Kloss. It is often treated as a subspecies of Horsfield's shrew, but has a different range, occurring in Myanmar, Vietnam and the Yunnan province of China (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is on the smaller end of shrews, with dark brownish-grey fur and a long, slender tail, intermediate in size between the larger voracious shrew and the smaller Chinese white-toothed shrew. No body weight data are available.
