About this species

Range
Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam

The least horseshoe bat is a small horseshoe bat found in Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam. It is a food source of a parasite, a jawed land leech of the genus Sinospelaeobdella (Wikipedia, general species account).

The source opened for this species is a short account that gives nothing on size, colour, diet, roosts or breeding, so none of those is stated. The entry is kept deliberately thin rather than borrowing details from other horseshoe bats. Nationally Least Concern (Nepal National Red List 2011).
