Range
Indian subcontinent, mainly the western Himalaya

Peters's tube-nosed bat is a vesper bat found in the Indian subcontinent, mainly in the western Himalaya. It has tube-shaped nostrils, brown fur with whitish-yellow underparts and specks of orange around the neck, round heads, large eyes and soft fur, and is 3.3–6 cm long (Wikipedia, general species account).

The account says that while roosting its fur looks like a dead plant, which camouflages it from predators, and that it feeds on rainforest fruit and blossoms; both statements are unusual for a vesper bat and should be treated with caution. It gives no measurements beyond length and no breeding information (Wikipedia, general species account).
