About this species

Range
Yunnan and Guangxi, southern China

Lorelie's tube-nosed bat is a species of vesper bat that the cached account describes as endemic to southern China, known only from Yunnan and Guangxi provinces, though checklists also list Vietnam. It is named after the chiropterist Lorelie Mitchell (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is a small Murina with a reddish-brown back and a black mask on the face, and it closely resembles the sympatric round-eared tube-nosed bat. It is possibly affected by habitat loss due to logging.
