The Turkestani long-eared bat is a large-eared bat found in Asia. It was described in 1873 but for many years was treated as the same species as the desert long-eared bat, from which it differs in smaller auditory bullae, a longer snout and a less curved baculum. The forearm is 56.8–65.5 mm and snout to tail 119–130 mm, and the ears are about 30 mm long (Wikipedia, general species account).
It is found at elevations of about 300–1,500 m. It forages by gleaning arthropods from the ground, and its prey includes scorpions, spiders, beetles, cockroaches, termites, grasshoppers, crickets, katydids and camel spiders. The cached account does not describe where it occurs in India (Wikipedia, general species account).
