The Sunda clouded leopard is a medium-sized wild cat native to Borneo and Sumatra. It was classified as a separate species, distinct from the clouded leopard of mainland Southeast Asia, on the basis of a study in 2006. Its fur is darker, with a smaller cloud pattern. It is also known as the Sundaland, Enkuli or Diard's clouded leopard (Wikipedia, general species account).
On both Sunda islands it is threatened by deforestation (Wikipedia, general species account).
