The Nepal myotis is a small vesper bat of the genus Myotis, with a total length under 10 cm and a wingspan under 4 cm as given in the account. It has a small ear and a long, narrow tragus, and dense fur that is dark at the base and dark-tipped on the back, and dark with paler tips on the underside (Wikipedia, general species account).
It is said to be found from Iran to Siberia, at both high and low altitude, in a variety of habitats including arid regions, mountains and forests. It breeds once a year, giving birth to a single young, and feeds mainly on moths and butterflies. The cached account does not describe its occurrence in India, and its figures are approximate (Wikipedia, general species account).
